City Lights – Jingle Town

Celebrate the Magic of the Season at Lynn Wyatt Square

This holiday season, Lynn Wyatt Square is getting a festive makeover as part of Downtown Houston’s City Lights celebration! Experience the magic of Jingle Town, where a spectacular 42-foot Christmas tree will illuminate the heart of Houston’s Theater District with 27,000 twinkling lights.

More than just a beautiful holiday display, this dazzling centerpiece is also a Giving Tree, spreading joy beyond the holiday season. Visitors are invited to embrace the spirit of giving by making a donation to Kids’ Meals, a local nonprofit dedicated to ending childhood hunger.

Whether you’re enjoying an evening downtown, capturing festive family photos, or simply taking in the holiday atmosphere, Jingle Town offers a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the season while making a meaningful difference in the lives of Houston children.

Kick Off the Holiday Season with City Lights

The holiday magic begins on Friday, November 20, 2026, with the official City Lights on The Plaza Kickoff at Avenida Houston from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

This festive celebration will feature the annual lighting of a nearly 60-foot Christmas tree, live music, strolling entertainment, holiday craft-making, and a spectacular holiday-themed drone show. Guests can also decorate lunch bags in support of Kids’ Meals and explore the holiday experiences awaiting them throughout Downtown Houston.

Jingle Town at Lynn Wyatt Square is one of 12 Holiday Villages bringing seasonal cheer to Downtown Houston, with mostly free experiences for visitors to enjoy throughout the holiday season.
