The MistleTones was formed in 2006 by friends and fellow artists, Ann Candler Harlan, Judy Frow, and Andrew Ruthven. Sharing a common yet diverse background of theater and music, they began performing as a trio and quickly became a popular group at events large and small, adding new talented members and new repertoire year after year to meet the demand for professional quality, traditional acapella Christmas caroling in the Houston area. The group has performed for events ranging from intimate family dinners and wedding proposals to large public events and gatherings in venues such as the George R. Brown Convention Center, all the finest hotels, shopping malls, and as featured artists with the Latin Philharmonic Orchestra in the Wortham Center. They are a favorite feature at the Bayou Bend Gardens annual “Christmas In the Village” event. The group has a wide-ranging repertoire of Christmas music from many countries and traditions, religious and secular, and occasionally compose their own arrangements of favorite Christmas songs.
